Center for Organ Recovery & Education and Jethro’s Restaurant to Hold First Annual Trivia Night

– Altoona-Based Restaurant Teams Up with CORE to Promote Organ Donation Awareness –

WHAT: 1st Annual Trivia Night

WHEN: Wednesday, October 14 from 6-11 p.m.

WHERE: Jethro’s Restaurant (417 Parkview Lane in Altoona)

CORE is teaming up with Jethro’s Restaurant to encourage people to register to become and organ, tissue and cornea donor with its first annual trivia night celebration! Restaurant patrons will be encouraged to put on their thinking caps and compete in a friendly trivia competition, challenged with several rounds of trivia covering a wide range of topics including organ donation, transplantation, sports, entertainment, history, music and more.

Additionally, CORE’s Altoona, Bedford and Johnstown Area Task Forces will have an organ donation awareness information table to encourage donor sign ups. Attendees can also enter to win basket raffles filled with a variety of prizes from local businesses.
