CORE volunteers will have an info table at the 2015 Maggie Dixon Heart Health Fair and Fan Fest, to answer questions and register new organ donors. The Maggie Dixon Heart Health Fair and Fan Fest will begin at 1 p.m. and include free blood pressure health screenings and educational heart health displays, while fans will also have the opportunity to obtain autographs from the Pitt men's and women's players and coaches from 1-2 p.m. Fans will then have the opportunity to watch the second of two scheduled men's scrimmages beginning at 3 p.m. The seventh annual Maggie Dixon Heart Health Fair is held in the honor of the late Maggie Dixon, Pitt coach Jamie Dixon's younger sister, who was the vibrant, passionate and successful head coach of the Army Black Knights women's basketball team. In 2006, she guided her team to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. Just weeks later, Maggie died suddenly due to a heart arrhythmia. She was only 28 years.
