CORE volunteers will have an info table at the walk where they can answer questions about donation and register new organ donors. Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) — one of the most common, life-threatening genetic diseases — strikes both adults and children. It often leads to the need for dialysis and a kidney transplant. It affects thousands in America and millions worldwide, who are in urgent need of treatments and a cure. These walkers are devoted to supporting PKD research and creating better lives for those who have been impacted by PKD.
Schedule of Events:
- Info table set-up: 8:00 a.m.
- Check-in/Onsite Registration: 8:30 a.m.
- Penny Kids Dash: TBD
- Walk Begins: 10 a.m.
